1. So what exactly are Paw Points?
Paw Points are a combination in-game currency and point system, which both give character's credit for RP activity and allow them to add features to their game play.
2. How does someone gain Paw Points?
All Paw Points are gained through either in-game or game related art, writing, and RPs.
-A character application with completed character bio is worth 2 Paw Points.
-Completed Leveling Tasks are worth 1 Paw Point each.
-Completed Mentor Tasks are worth 1 Paw Point each.
-Completed Character and Location RPs are worth 1 Paw Point each (minimum 1000 combined words.)
-Completed Story RPs are worth 2 Paw Points each.
-Art pieces containing at least on character and some level of background are worth 1 Paw Point.
-Art pieces containing three or more characters and a completed background are worth 2 Paw Points.
-Writing pieces are worth 1 Paw Point (minimum 750 words).
-Collaborative writing pieces are worth 1 Paw Point each (minimum 1500 combined words).
-Extended writing pieces worth 1 Paw Point per each additional 2500 words.
3. Is there a limit to how many Paw Points I can get?
You can earn up to 20 Paw Points in your first month, per character, and 10 every month after that. Keep in mind that any work intended to be submitted for Paw Points must be a completed, polished work to earn its Paws. You can still complete any Paw Point earning activity once you have reached the max points, you just can't gain any more points for that month.
4: How do I get credit for my Paw Points?
To cash in those Paw Points you must first post, somewhere on the PTP forum, proof of your Paw Points worthy activity. Then send a private message to your Pride Mod linking to the activity that earned your points, along with your character's name, previous point count, and new point count. Your Pride Mod will update the count on your Pride Paw Point Post and on your profile. Your Points Post also counts for your activity check, so make sure to post as soon as you finish your activity to ensure you get credit for the activity within the month you earned it. Points are not awarded until you make your post, so an activity completed in January but Point Posted in February will earn the points and activity check for February (so be punctual to avoid missing an activity check, which will get your character deleted!)
5. How can I spend my Paw Points and what is there to buy?
To make a purchase, you make a post on your Pride Paw Point Post with your desired purchase, character name, previous point count, and new point count. If the purchase is approved your Pride Mod will update your point count and any part of your profile that required updating.

***Each parent may claim one kitten to take on as a character without cost, so long as they have an open character slot, and the kitten will claim one of the open slots. The remaining kittens can be placed for adoption for other players to purchase as a second or third character or for new players to take on. If there are any kittens not claimed after 6 weeks, they die (the Paw Points for these kittens are not refunded).
****Movements like this are limited by believe-ability and room in the Pride the character wishes to join, and must be approved by the Mod of the Pride you wish to join.
Lastly, YOU MUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OWN PAW POINTS AND POST THEM PROMPTLY IF YOU WANT CREDIT FOR THEM! The best course of action is to post your Paw Points as soon as you finish an activity, that way you do not risk forgetting to get your Paw Points for the month!
